Similar to TED Talks, Wowzitude is a series of 100+ inspirational and entertaining topics of interest to this age group, presented with engaging and well-researched visuals, and two-way, live interactive guided discussions using video conferencing tools.
Some programs may also include guest authors of popular books, as well as personal, poignant stories of the power of gratitude.
Wowzitude is a custom-created series of uplifting remote programming that is videoconferenced in real-time, into community rooms or directly into residents' rooms, using tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, GoToMeeting, Webex, and Skype’s Meet Now.
No special equipment, aside from an internet-connected computer and screen is required.
Each program includes a 10 minute visual presentation followed by a 50 minute fully facilitated, live discussion. Programs may be shortened or lengthened depending on time, engagement and interest.
